HSU Music Series: Black Violin

Violin like you’ve never heard it before! Black Violin is a genre busting blend of classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B, and bluegrass music. Accompanied by their incredible band, featuring ace turntable whiz DJ SPS and a drummer, “at times they play with the intense seriousness of orchestral soloists; at others they fiddle as if at a hoedown” (New York Times).
